What is
Program Upload?
- Program upload refers to the process of storing a program on the CPU board.
- The CPU board operates according to the uploaded (stored) program. Therefore, after coding or downloading the complete operational program, it is essential to upload it to the CPU board.
0. STEP BY STEP
1. Program Preparation
Prepare the Program
Open mBlock and prepare the program you wish to upload
.
You can either code it yourself or load the complete robot operation program. Please refer to link below.
2. Cable Connection
Connect the Download Board to the CPU Board
Insert the download board into the download board port on the CPU board.
Connect the Download Cable to the PC
Plug the download cable into the USB port of your computer (PC).
Connect the Download Cable to the CPU Board
Insert the download cable into the download board that is connected to the CPU board.
3. Connection & Upload
Click the ‘Connect’ Button
Click the ‘Connect’ button at the bottom left of the mBlock window.
Click ‘Show All Available Devices’
When the window appears, click ‘Show All Available Devices’/span>.
Select the Device
Click on the device list, find and select the XROBO device.
- Unplug the download cable from the CPU board
- note the device that disappears from the list.
- Reconnect the cable and select the newly appeared device.
Click ‘Connect’
Click ‘Connect’ to complete the connection process.
Select ‘Upload Mode’
Click ‘Upload Mode’ at the bottom left of the mBlock screen and wait until the upload is complete.
If an error occurs, repeat the upload process.
Upload Complete!
The upload is now complete. You can now operate the robot.
