What is mBlock?
- mBlock is a tool used for coding or uploading (storing) programs onto a CPU board to control a robot's movements.
Is Installation Necessary?
When mBlock Installation is Not Required:
- If you are at the X1 stage,
- and you want to directly operate the robot without coding,
- and you have not uploaded any code from a previous stage.
STEP BY STEP
1. Install mBlock on your PC
Go to the Download Page
To download the mBlock installer, please go to the “Download mBlock page”.
Download Installer for Windows PC Version
Locate the mBlock PC version and click the “Download for Windows” button to download the installer.
Run the Installer
Find and click the download icon at the top right of your browser, then click the downloaded installer to run it.
Complete the Installation
When the access permission window appears, click “Allow Access” and wait for the installation to complete. Then, click the Finish button.
2. Install the CH340 Driver
Run mBlock
Double-click the mBlock icon on your screen to launch the application.
Install Only If Necessary
If prompted that the CH340 driver installation is needed, click the “Install” button. When the CH340 driver installation popup appears, click the “INSTALL” button.
3. Add XROBO Device
Remove Existing Devices
In mBlock, click the “X” button next to any unnecessary devices in the device list at the bottom left corner to remove them.
Search and Add XROBO Device
Click the “Add Device” button at the bottom left of the screen to open the full device list. Search for XROBO, select the XROBO device, and click OK to add it.

or quicker access to the XROBO device in the future, click the Star Icon in the device addition screen.
